LOCTITE 242 is a medium-strength blue threadlocker for locking and sealing threaded metal fasteners. The thixotropic anaerobic formula cures between close-fitting metal surfaces to help prevent loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration, while still allowing disassembly with standard hand tools.
